TISCO Securities Co., Ltd. was named the “Best Domestic Equity House in Thailand” for the year 2002 by Asiamoney Magazine. TISCO was cited for its success in the categories of IPOs, Internet trading and Research.
Board of the Year Awards 2002
TISCO Finance Plc. received the “Board of the Year 2002“ award from the Thai Institute of Directors, in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), The Thai Chamber of Commerce, The Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Bankers Association and the Listed Companies Association. TISCO was selected out of the 234 listed companies that joined the program. The award was established to highlight the importance of raising the quality and standards of directorship.
Best Practices on Corporate Governance Awards 2001
TISCO Finance Plc. won the “Best Practices in Corporate Governance Award” in the Bank and Financial Institutions category for the year 2001. The International Judging Committee was comprised of prominent members of the Institute of Internal Auditors U.S.A., The Bank of Thailand, The Thai Institute of Directors Association and The Institute of Internal Auditors of Thailand. Best Practices criteria included accountability, responsibility, equitable treatment, transparent disclosure, promotion of best practices and the creation of long-term value for all stakeholders.
Audit Committee of the Year 2001
TISCO Finance Plc. also won the “Audit Committee of the Year Award” for 2001. The objective of this award is to recognize the critical role an audit committee plays in the establishment and implementation of good corporate governance practices in an organization in order to not only protect the interests of investors and create more transparency, but also in assisting the board and its management team in achieving sustainable growth and profitability.
Best Overall Equity Deal Awards 2001
TISCO Securities Co., Ltd. won the “Best Overall Equity Deal” achievement award from Finance Asia Magazine for its role in the Bt9.75-billion Petroleum Exploration and Production Plc. (PTTEP) share placement.
Best Privatization Related Offering Awards 2001
TISCO Securities Co., Ltd. also received the “Best Privatization Related Offering” achievement award for the PTTEP deal of the same year from Finance Asia Magazine.
Best Domestic Securities House Awards 1998
TISCO Securities Co., Ltd. was given the “Best Domestic Securities House” Award for 1998 from Finance Asia Magazine. The magazine praised TISCO for showing itself able to meet the challenges that come in a volatile market.
Investment Bank of the Year Awards 1996-1998
TISCO Securities Co., Ltd. was selected as “Investment Bank of the Year” for three consecutive years beginning in 1996 by Finance Asia Magazine. This award was established to honor the best domestic and foreign banks in countries across the region.
